Frontier Airlines has introduced a new seating option
Frontier Airlines has introduced a new seating option with a guaranteed empty middle seat, so passengers sitting by the window or aisle have more personal space. UpFront Plus is a great option for those who want expanded personal space and extra comfort. Sales began this week, but UpFront Plus Seats won’t be available on flights until April 10. Introductory prices start at $49 per person each way, for travel between April 10 through April 30. Travelers must book by March 20 for special pricing. Seating is limited and restrictions apply.
Tourists’ hot spots will have price hikes for 2024
Many tourists hot spots are introducing visitor caps and entry fees to prevent overcrowding. Some of the price hikes include a new $13 charge for climbing Japan’s famous (and congested) Mount Fuji. The Louvre art museum in Paris, home to the Mona Lisa, has raised ticket prices by almost a third, ahead of the Paris Olympics this summer.
Airbnb have banned indoor security cameras
Airbnb announced on March 12, 2024, that a worldwide ban on all security cameras inside rental properties using their services would go into effect at the end of next month.
Lyft and Uber say they will cease operations in Minneapolis
Lyft and Uber say they will cease operations in Minneapolis after the city’s council voted Thursday to override a mayoral veto and require ride-hailing services to increase driver wages to the equivalent of the local hourly minimum wage of $15.57.
